The proposal to dedicate a place in the city to the person who was one of the most famous Italian artists ever and who had chosen Milan as her habitual residence was made by the “Renata Tebaldi Comittee” and agreed to by the Municipality of Milan. The Park of Nicolò Tommaseo Square, before the splendid Basilica of Sant’Alessandro, is dedicated to Renata Tebaldi, and her name will be read among the flowers and the trees of one of the most suggestive areas of the city.
